Oregon Trail Adventure
Part 1
You are living in the year 1848, on the east coast. You have been asked to lead a wagon train that will be heading out west for the Oregon territory.
In order to do a good job as Wagon Master, you will need to make many decisions along the way.
Your first task is to recommend to the pioneer families the supplies they should bring with them in their covered wagons. They should only bring the supplies that will best prepare them to survive their challenging journey.
Their supplies will need to be limited to only those items that are absolutely necessary for their survival, because a covered wagon can carry no more than 2,000 pounds.
What items will be the most important to bring, in order to survive the journey? In order to make that decision, you will need to find out what the conditions are along the Oregon Trail.
