Top: This "Simon" 5-foot "Bucking Saw" cut trees into logs.
2nd row: This 7-foot "Bucking Saw" cut logs and was used for bucking firewood.
3rd row: This 3-foot "Camp Saw" was used for cutting firewood and other light duty work. Under it is a 6-pound "Sager Falling Axe". It was used for falling trees with the Falling Saw. Under that is the 1832 "Broad Axe". This 7-pound axe was used for squaring logs.
Wedges: The two wedges on the left are a 6-pound and a 10-pound "Falling Wedge". They were used to wedge trees over and for use when loggers were bucking trees into logs. Under the wedges is a 6-pound solid steel sledge hammer, used for driving wedges into trees. The head of the sledge hammer doesn't show in this picture.

This photo was taken at the British Columbia Forestry Museum.
