The creators of this Online Investigation are Kathy Dorr, Susan Swank and Jan Frank, Bellingham School District teachers. The modular format for this project is patterned after Dr. Jamieson McKenzie's "Module Maker" for Online Learning (exits site) Much of the text used in this module is a direct quotation from pages created by Gretchen Offutt. The structure and visual layouts of these modules are based on her online research project"Planetary Adventure" (exits site). Duplication of her work is done with the author's permission.
