You are a member of the International Organization for Human Rights. As we enter the new millennium, your task is to nominate an individual for the Humanitarian of the Century Award. Your chosen person must have made an important contribution to humanity during the twentieth century. Your individual choice must be supported by research, and special attention must be given to your person's character qualities and contributions to mankind.

You will research the humanitarians in the following list, and then choose the one who you think most deserves the "Humanitarian of the Century Award". You will give a persuasive presentation to the International Organization for Human Rights , recommending your person as the best choice for the award!
